Hmmmm...After finding out that my zune battery was fried...(and having one of the older 30gb models) I finally had taken it to be fixed. I shelled out 60 bucks (yes. 60. I'm working for bull shit aren't I?)the battery is replaced, now I decided to search some forums, find ways to extend battery life. I need my zune it's my soul. I've heard things like turning the display time to 1 sec, or 5 sec minimum, which i've done. and lowering the brightness. Ok...Now time for the big shock...My zune has been with me for about 2 years, and I have found out that the way I thought I was shutting off the Zune is not the real way (for those who know, damn you all for not telling me...fuckers)it turns out that holding down the play/pause button is not the way to turn it off....It puts it to sleep. The way to turn it off, which is suggested after not using it for 10-15 minutes is to press the down button and the back button and hold it until it turns off....yes. this is the true way. you're battery will not go down either....fucking technology. However, when you turn it back on, it will reset. I find this all to be truly amazing. And I thank Microsoft for not telling me when I brought this thing....bunch of S.O.B's....that's the end of this broadcast.
